Water level indicators supplied by Waves Fluid Engineering Pte. Ltd. are available in heights ranging from 1 metre to 10 metres. For indicators exceeding 6 metres in height, the system is supplied in two sections and assembled onsite.
The aluminium water level indicator is a robust mechanical visual monitoring system specifically designed for water storage tanks. It allows facility managers and maintenance teams to instantly determine water levels without depending on electronic sensors, displays, or power supplies.
Working Principle
The water level indicator operates based on the Principle of Communicating Vessels (Pascal’s Law in hydrostatics).
The clear acrylic tube is connected hydraulically to the bottom section of the water tank.
As the water level inside the tank rises or falls, the water level inside the acrylic tube changes proportionally.
The transparent Ø25mm acrylic tube allows operators to easily observe the actual water level.
A calibrated measurement scale in metres provides quick and accurate level indication.
A mini ball valve or gate valve is installed at the bottom connection to isolate the indicator during maintenance.
This mechanical system provides continuous, real-time, and highly accurate water level indication without the need for electricity.
